Jarrod Bowen was compared to Mohamed Salah as West Ham drew 1-1 with Manchester United.
West Ham managed a draw against Man United as Soungoutou Magassa’s strike cancelled out Diogo Dalot’s opener.
There had been little positivity to speak of for Nuno Espirito Santo before the leveller, with the performance of Tomas Soucek for West Ham against Man United raising concerns.
The Portuguese head coach had few selection options with Lucas Paqueta missing and Luis Guilherme missing from the West Ham squad entirely.
That gave the Hammers very little chance to create throughout the game, but Bowen still managed to showcase his talents in M16.

Slaven Bilic raves about Jarrod Bowen vs Manchester United
Slaven Bilic nearly returned to West Ham earlier in the season as a potential replacement for the outgoing Graham Potter.
The Irons instead moved for Nuno, who has tasted mixed results since making his move to the London Stadium.
The showcase at Old Trafford was looking like one of the worst under his reign, with nothing truly positive to say about the overall performance until the equaliser went in.
Bilic was able to pick out one moment of true quality from Bowen as the England international looked to break through the United defence.
The Hammers skipper was ultimately brought to a halt, but had breezed past multiple Red Devils and breached their penalty area.
Bowen caught the eye of the Croatian as he spoke out in glowing terms about the skipper live on Sky Sports Main Event.

He said: “Bowen doesn’t start as a winger, he starts behind Callum Wilson. These are the situations he loves the most [dribbling off the right wing].
“He is one of the best after Mo Salah and Saka, probably one of the best in the league.“
Bowen rightly compared to Mohamed Salah at West Ham
The forward may have struggled in recent weeks, but the level of disrespect aimed his way this season has been totally unfair.
Bowen has dragged the Irons through the mire in recent years and is totally deserving of all the praise and attention he receives from elsewhere.

Salah is proof that these top players can have difficult spells, but that doesn’t mean they have lost their true quality.
The Englishman showed against Man United just how isolated he is in this Irons squad, but he can still make things happen in West Ham colours.
