Viral Christmas market was so disappointing – it had huge queues & closed stalls

INFLUENCERS are raving about a Christmas market that’s been described as “underrated,” but now, a foodie has shared her honest take on the “disappointing” event.
Just days ago, Izzy Hill, a young woman from the UK, described Tod’s Festive Feast as “the best Christmas market in London.”

But now, a foodie named Mols has voiced her fury at the Christmas market, which is home to hot dogs from Ruben’s Rubens, doughnuts from Bread Ahead, and many more.
The food-orientated market serves delicious dishes in the middle of the city and is set to run all through the festive season until December 28th.
Created by Eating with Tod, an influencer with 2.1 million followers on Instagram, it is said to be home to “the best cinnamon rolls in the city” from Roll Boys and there’s even the “only goose baps in London” from The Duck Shed.
But according to Mols, as well as long queues and no seating, the market, which also has desserts from Chin Chin and burgers from Truffle Burger, is also lacking in festive atmosphere.

And that’s not all, as the foodie expressed her distaste of the market’s “extremely bright lights” and the stalls that ran out of food early.
Posting on social media, Mols shared snips from Eating with Tod’s Instagram, showing how she expected the market to appear.
But moments later, the foodie gave viewers an insight into the “reality” of the market, which had stalls closed early due to a lack of food, as well as huge queues.
Alongside her video, Mols penned: “Tod’s Festive Feast Xmas Market was disappointing to say the least…”
Mols claimed that the market had “long queues” and “no seating area.”
She was also gutted that there was “no Christmas music or any festive atmosphere” and recognised that “some stalls shut before 6pm.”
As well as this, Mols penned: “Extremely bright lights that made everything feel distorted in the busy crowds.”
Clearly very unimpressed, she fumed: “Not a vibe.”

It wasn’t giving Christmas markets, it was giving a couple of display sheds in B&Q

One person said: “This is the exact video we needed!!! No atmosphere, NO SEATING, nothing to hide in or under from the horrible weather and the food, the prices, well…”
Another added: “It’s actually such a shame – the smell is horrendous, barely any tables and seats to eat, the prices are outrageous for the way they present food. I just think it was chaotic and not worth the hype.”
A third commented: “Couldn’t agree more – went today, it was dog awful! No atmosphere, no Christmas vibe, had the pulled pork from ‘From The Ashes’ and it was cold and super fatty!
“Half the stalls were empty and the stalls open didn’t have some items on the menu available! It wasn’t giving Christmas markets, it was giving a couple of display sheds in B&Q.”
