On Thursday’s episode of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here, Ant and Dec headed into camp to announce the next person to be eliminated from the ITV show.
When the duo entered the camp, they confirmed it was Martin Kemp whose time in the Australian jungle had ended just days before the final on Sunday night (December 7).
The saved celebrities were quick to give Martin a hug after they were announced as the sixth person to leave camp before they headed over to speak to Ant and Dec about their time on the programme.
So far, ITV viewers have seen Alex Scott, Eddie Kadi, Vogue Williams, Kelly Brook and Ruby Wax leave the jungle, much to the disbelief of fans.
Martin lasted a total of 20 days in the Australian jungle, as viewers saw him take on the latest Bushtucker Trial with Tom Read Wilson on Thursday’s show (December 4). The pair managed to get a total of five out of seven stars in the Lethal Libraries

It wasn’t long before people watching commented on Martin’s exit, with many rushing to social media to share their thoughts.
One person said: “No!!!! Not Martin. Tom better win now!!!!” Someone else commented: “AWWWW I WANTED TO SEE MARTIN TO TAKE ON THE CYCLONE #ImACeleb”
Another wrote: “Noooo, Martin. He was done so dirty.” Whilst one viewer shared: “I don’t care what people say. Martin, you are an absolute legend I’m sorry to see you go.”

Sad to see him leave, someone else added: “Martin’s just a sweet, gentle guy. Oddly emotional about him.” As another person wrote: “Aww, not Martin, I wanted him to stay after doing well in that trial.”
The 64-year-old watched his highlights from the show before speaking about his experience. He told Ant and Dec: “What a trip! It’s a weird trip. When I’m looking at that, it’s like it doesn’t exist!
“I’m in the middle of a television screen, that’s what it looks like. I’m so used to watching it on TV. I mean, mental.”

When asked what he enjoyed most about his time on the programme, Martin replied: “The other people, without a doubt. Just sitting around. Not even the trials, just sitting around talking. I said it a few times on there, I’m not one for making new friends, this is the first time I’d done it for years, I absolutely loved it.”
Speaking about who he wants to win the show, the singer told Ant and Dec he thinks the crown could go to Shona McGarty, highlighting how much she’s come out of her shell since first arriving.
In a twist, Ant and Dec told viewers that there will be a double elimination on Friday night, urging people to vote on who they want to keep in the running to win the show.
I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! Is available to watch on ITVX.
