Gilkes, Tremain named as Davies earns debut

NSW selectors have confirmed a 12-player squad for the Blues Sheffield Shield clash with Queensland at the SCG.
Matt Gilkes returns to the side for the first time in more than a month, replacing Ollie Davies, who drops out of the squad.
Joel Davies has also been named and is set to become NSW first-class player #776, while experienced quick Chris Tremain could feature for the Blues for the first time since March 2024 following his recovery from Parsonage-Turner Syndrome.
Sean Abbott and Will Salzmann remain sidelined with injury.
Alongside Abbott and Salzmann, Ryan Hadley and Josh Philippe are not available due to international duty with Australia A.
The match gets underway at 10.30am each day, is free for spectators and can be seen live on Kayo and cricket.com.au
