Lando Norris went quickest in second practice ahead of title rival Max Verstappen for the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Norris finished 0.363 seconds ahead of Verstappen, with Piastri finishing 11th quickest after a mistake on his flying lap.
Russell finished third quickest with Lewis Hamilton down in 14th.
