Al-Sakitioui Responds to Queiroz’s Possession Strategy: “The 90 Minutes Will Dictate Our Approach”

Carlos Queiroz, head coach of the Omani national team, outlined his tactical approach for their upcoming match against Morocco in the second round of the Arab Cup group stage, emphasizing a reliance on possession as a key playing style.

Responding to the Portuguese coach’s remarks, Al-Sakitioui stated: “Queiroz said he would rely on possession? Every coach plays in the way he prefers, but the 90 minutes are what reveal to us and the public how to approach the match’s flow, both with and without the ball.”

He continued: “This is a match that will allow Morocco to advance to the next round, and everyone is aware of this responsibility. We will be ready, as always, to defend our flag and honor it in the best possible way.”

The match between the Moroccan and Omani national teams is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, kicking off at 3:30 PM Moroccan time, as part of the second round of the Arab Cup group stage.
