Injury report: Bears get Kyle Monangai back; Rome Odunze remains out

The Bears got running back Kyle Monangai back on the practice field, but wide receiver Rome Odunze remains out with a foot problem.
The Bears said neither would have practiced in a theoretical session Wednesday, when the team merely issued a projected injury report. Monangai was limited Thursday, though, with an ankle injury.
“My ankle’s good,” he said after practice.
Monangai ran 22 times for 130 yards against the Eagles. Odunze had only two catches for eight yards.
Cornerback Tyrique Stevenson (hip) and linebacker Ruben Hyppolite II (shoulder) remain out. Guard Joe Thuney got his regular Thursday rest.
The real test for Odunze will come Friday, when the Bears hold their final practice of the week before traveling to Green Bay to face the Packers on Sunday at Lambeau Field.
Notes
Linebackers T.J. Edwards and Noah Sewell practiced again as they work to return from, respectively, injuries to their hand/hamstring and elbow. Edwards was limited and Sewell a full participant.
The Bears have played without their three starting linebackers the last two games. Tremaine Edmunds remains on injured reserve with a groin injury.
• Packers linebacker Quay Walker, who suffered a neck stinger against the Giants, was upgraded to a full participant. Defensive end Lukas Van Ness (foot), wide receiver Savion Williams (foot) and safety Javon Bullard (ankle) sat out.
Odunze has been bothered by a heel injury since October, and the Bears finally opted to shut him down for an extended stretch.
