I’m A Celebrity star Tom Read Wilson’s sister has teased the ‘really good’ career move she wants her Celebs Go Dating receptionist brother to make after the ITV show comes to an end.

Tom has emerged as a fan favourite on the annual Ant and Dec series after entering the jungle as a late arrival alongside Vogue Williams. Viewers were immediately drawn to his unique and upbeat sense of humour.

Currently one of the six famous faces left in the camp, Tom is being predicted by some viewers to be crowned king of the jungle in Sunday night’s (December 7) final. However, in order to do that, he’ll have to avoid being eliminated in Friday night’s (December 5) dreaded double eviction.

Viewers saw Tom make an unlikely double act with former EastEnders actor Martin Kemp, prior to his elimination, in a Bushtucker Trial titled ‘Lethal Libraries’. Managing to win five our of the seven stars on offer, Tom was living it up as he had to find books surrounded by jungle critters based on the clues Martin provided him.

Sadly, Martin’s exit marked the second night in a row where someone he was growing close to was sent packing. Tom’s closest friend in the camp, American talk show host Ruby Wax, left him feeling quite blue.

Tom said in the Bush Telegraph: “I think the whole group, including Ruby, were absolutely gobsmacked.” The pair grew close to one another through their love of the arts, and were delighted to take on each other in the series’ first live trial in five years last week.

Having already appeared on The Voice UK, as well as making appearances on Strictly spin-off It Takes Two, Love Island: Aftersun and The Wheel, many fans are wondering what Tom will do after I’m A Celebrity.

Appearing on ITV talk show Lorraine on Friday morning, Tom’s sister Miranda had her say. Speaking to guest presenter Ranvir Singh, Miranda expressed her desire to see Tom moving into the world of presenting going forward.

“He would love to do some more presenting. I think he’d be great at that. I’d love it if he had a chat show, because the way he talks to people, he really cares, he really listens, I think he’d be really good at that,” she said.

Miranda added: “It’s amazing, I’ve never been this proud in my life, I’m so proud of him. It’s so nice because everyone is seeing that beautiful soul that we get to see every single day, so yeah, I couldn’t be prouder.”

Much has been made of Tom’s posh accent, with some I’m A Celebrity viewers debating whether it’s his real voice. According to his sister, Tom’s voice is as natural as they come.

She explained: “He’s always grown up loving language, like he said, my dad’s an English teacher and he really followed in his footsteps and he’s watched musical theatre throughout… he’s such an old soul, literally since he was two, he’s spoken like that.”

Prior to jetting off to Australia, Tom revealed that one of the reasons he signed up for the programme was to show that there is ‘an adventurous spirit lurking’ inside of him. Saying at the time he can ‘be intrepid’, Tom noted: “For instance, I have climbed a mountain and abseiled down a rock before.

“I’d like to show this side of me as it doesn’t come up very often. Socialising is the aspect I am most excited about. My favourite thing about being alive is meeting people. And I am sure I am going to learn new things about myself because of the degree of socialisation.

“I live alone and it will be very different for me in a myriad way. Yes, historically my background is the theatre and I spend bags of time with them (actors), but I have never done it around the clock.”
