I’m A Celebrity fans say Angry Ginge is ‘clever boy’ as voting move ‘spotted’ before final

He was a favourite to win the ITV reality show before the odds became stacked against him this week

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here fans have said Angry Ginge is a ‘clever boy’ as they thought he made a move which could secure him some extra votes ahead of the final.

The 24-year-old YouTube star quickly became a favourite to win the ITV reality show when he was seen heading into the jungle alongside nine other famous faces back when the 2025 series got underway last month.

But in the final week of I’m A Celeb’s 2025 run, Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwhistle, has divided some with his opinions on the washing up, and his decision – alongside Aitch and Kelly Brook – to take some extra sweets during a challenge before delivering the rest back to camp to share.

Now, Ginge has turned the dial once again as he ended up impressing I’m A Celeb viewers with his defence of none other than Taylor Swift. During Thursday night’s (December 5) episode, Ginge described himself as a “Swiftie”, as the campmates discussed the US pop superstar.

The YouTuber said: “I am a Swiftie. Unbelievable she is, her music’s incredible, she’s incredible.” He added: “She’s also an aesthetically pleasing lady, she’s very beautiful.”

Jack Osbourne exposed himself as not being a fan, as he described her music to be like ‘vanilla ice cream’. An outraged Ginge replied: “Taylor Swift is not vanilla ice cream, she’s mint chocolate!” Before he added: “Don’t disrespect Taylor Swift.”

During the discussion, Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp, before he became the sixth celebrity to be voted off of the show, asked the social media star: “Would you snog her?” He replied: “I think I’d be an idiot if I turned her down to be honest!”

But while some thought it may have been a ‘clever’ way for Ginge to pick up some extra votes, others pointed out that the Salford-raised star is actually a genuine fan as his streams have proven.

WTAF? #imaceleb.” @astr0nugg3t posted:” Ginge lcking in them Swiftie votes now, clever boy.” @Towarth claimed: “Ginge trying to get them extra votes from the Swifties #ImACeleb.” But @trevorlloyd92 revealed: “Only have to watch his streams to know he loves her music.” @ismail_mufc4 added: “Well I have seen Ginge singing Taylor swift songs on stream.”
