Tom Read Wilson’s sister dropped major hints about his ambitions after his I’m A Celebrity jungle stint

Tom Read Wilson’s next career move following his stint on I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! has been hinted at by his sister during a chat on ITV’s Lorraine.
The Celebs Go Dating favourite has charmed a host of fans with his jungle antics, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Lisa Riley, Aitch, Angry Ginge, Martin Kemp, Eddie Kadi and Alex Scott.
Tom, who previously stirred up chatter with his posh accent and extravagant vocabulary, has been tackling Ant and Dec’s notorious bushtucker trials in what is arguably the biggest TV role of his career to date.
Known for his role as the receptionist on Celebs Go Dating and a past stint on The Voice UK, Tom has also graced screens on shows like Strictly’s It Takes Two, Love Island: Aftersun, The Wheel, Celebrity Mastermind and Celebrity Best Home Cook, reports the Express.

However, his sister has now dropped hints that he could be venturing into presenting next.
While chatting with guest presenter Ranvir Singh on Lorraine, Tom’s sister Miranda revealed: “He would love to do some more presenting. I think he’d be great at that.
“I’d love it if he had a chat show, because the way he talks to people, he really cares, he really listens, I think he’d be really good at that.”
She further gushed: “It’s amazing, I’ve never been this proud in my life, I’m so proud of him. It’s so nice because everyone is seeing that beautiful soul that we get to see every single day, so yeah, I couldn’t be prouder.”
Addressing his voice, she added: “He’s always grown up loving language, like he said, my dad’s an English teacher and he really followed in his footsteps and he’s watched musical theatre throughout… he’s such an old soul, literally since he was two, he’s spoken like that.”

Before entering the series, Tom revealed he was keen to challenge a common misconception about himself.
He explained: “There is an adventurous spirit lurking in me and I can be intrepid. For instance, I have climbed a mountain and abseiled down a rock before. I’d like to show this side of me as it doesn’t come up very often.”
He continued: “Socialising is the aspect I am most excited about. My favourite thing about being alive is meeting people. And I am sure I am going to learn new things about myself because of the degree of socialisation. I live alone and it will be very different for me in a myriad way.
“Yes, historically my background is the theatre and I spend bags of time with them (actors), but I have never done it around the clock.”
