Costco Canada has officially launched a bunch of special, limited-time-only deals just in time for the holidays, and if you’re keen on saving a few extra bucks, there are lots of promotions to take advantage of.
Whether you’re already a regular Costco member, have an expired membership, or aren’t a member at all, here are all the special holiday offers at Costco you need to be aware of.
Membership offer
This holiday offer only applies to new Costco members or memberships that have expired for 18 months or more, so if this applies to you, listen up.
Until Jan. 4, 2026, you can sign up as a Costco executive member and receive an online voucher for $130 off a $250 purchase on the retailer’s website using the promo code COSTCO130.
Considering an executive membership is already $130 per year (plus taxes), this is a pretty sweet deal and includes a free household card. All you have to do is enter the promo code when paying for your membership online, and soon after, you’ll receive an email from Costco that will include your membership number.
Next, you’ll have to bring the email to a membership counter at any Costco location in Canada to pick up your card, and then you’ll receive an email within two to four business days with your online voucher to use towards your next online purchase.
The online voucher is only valid until Feb. 1, 2026, and must be used in a single transaction greater than $250 before taxes, fees, and shipping, and can’t be redeemed in person at a Costco warehouse.
If you’re looking to sign up for a gold star membership, you can also receive an online voucher for $65 off a $150 purchase on Costco’s website using the promo code COSTCO65. As with the executive membership, the offer expires on Jan. 4, 2026, and the online voucher is valid until Feb. 1, 2026. You can redeem your gold star online voucher using the same steps as for the executive membership.
Refer a friend
If you’re already a Costco member, you can refer a friend to join, and you will each receive a $50 online voucher with an executive membership signup, or a $25 online voucher with a gold star membership signup.
The limited-time offer runs until Dec. 21, and all you have to do is bring a friend to any Costco membership counter in Canada. Once your friend signs up for a new Costco membership, present the offer page to the membership clerk, and you’ll both receive the vouchers.
Just keep in mind that the executive membership voucher requires a minimum spend of $200 on the retailer’s website, and the gold star voucher requires a minimum spend of $125. Online vouchers are valid until Jan. 18, 2026.
Auto renewal
This holiday deal also applies to existing Costco members, specifically those who have not already enrolled in automatic renewals of their membership.
You can use any Mastercard (including the CIBC Costco Mastercard) to enrol in membership auto-renewal before Dec. 7, and you’ll receive a $25 online voucher. Account changes take three days to process, and must be made more than three days before the first day of your renewal month.
You’ll receive the online voucher through your email within two to four business days of completing the enrollment process. All you have to do is sign in to your Costco.ca account, select “renew membership” from the “account” drop-down menu, and in the “set up auto renew payment” section, type the last name and postal code associated with your account. Then, you’ll add your Mastercard credit or debit card details, select “use card for auto renew,” and hit “submit.”
Online vouchers for this deal are only valid until Feb. 1, 2026.
