Florida Atlantic Announces 2026 Spring Schedule

BOCA RATON, Fla. – Florida Atlantic’s women’s track & field team has announced its 2026 indoor and outdoor schedule.
To start off the new year, the Owls will travel to compete in the back-to-back weekends in Gainesville, Fla., at the Jimmy Carnes Invitational (Jan. 16) and RADD Florida Invitational (Jan. 23-24). To close out the month of January, FAU will travel to Boston, Mass., to participate in the John Thomas Terrier Classic, hosted by Boston University, on January 30.
On Feb. 6, Florida Atlantic will return to Gainesville to compete in the Celebration Pointe Indoor Classic before heading to the American Indoor Championships in Birmingham, Ala. (Feb. 27-28).
The outdoor season will begin on March 21st. FAU will make a trip to Miami to participate in the UM Hurricane Invitational on Saturday, March 21. The distance group will compete in the Raleigh Relays on March 26. The sprinters will travel back to Miami to participate in the UM Hurricane Collegiate Invitational (March 28). Florida Atlantic will start the month of April at the Florida Relays in Gainesville (April 3-4). For the third time in the season, FAU will take another trip down south to the University of Miami on April 11.
Two invites remain (Georgia Tech Invite and UNF Invite) before the start of the postseason. The American Outdoor Championships will take place in Denton, Texas, from May 13 to 16.
The NCAA East First Round will take place on May 28 through May 30 in Lexington, Kentucky.
