Karl Bushby made a bet that he could walk from the southern tip of South America all the way home to England. He’s walked through Patagonia, the Andes, Central America and more. It’s been 27 years, and Bushby, now 56, is still walking.

there was a guy from Minnesota ,Waseca I believe who walked around the world in the early 70’s ,David Kunst I I think his name was ,His brother got killed in Afghanistan by bandits during the trip ,wife divorced him upon his return ,All kinds of crazy twists to that story as I recall.
