3 Bouts That Could Steal The Show At ONE Fight Night 38

ONE Championship will close out 2025 with a bang when it touches down at Bangkok’s iconic Lumpinee Stadium for ONE Fight Night 38: Andrade vs. Baatarkhuu on Prime Video, live in U.S. primetime this Friday, December 5.

In the main event, ONE Bantamweight MMA World Champion Fabricio “Wonder Boy” Andrade will defend his throne against #4-ranked contender Enkh-Orgil Baatarkhuu.

ONE will also crown a new divisional king when two-time ADCC World Champion Diogo “Baby Shark” Reis battles Japan’s Daiki Yonekura for the vacant ONE Flyweight Submission Grappling World Championship.

Plus, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu legends collide as Marcelo Garcia and Lachlan Giles meet in a lightweight submission grappling dream match that should go down as an instant classic.

Beyond the aforementioned marquee attractions, the supporting lineup features exciting superstars, devastating finishers, and pivotal showdowns that could steal the show. These are three fights that fans won’t want to miss at ONE Fight Night 38.

#1 Aliff Sor Dechapan Vs. Ramadan Ondash

Malaysian-Thai sensation Aliff Sor Dechapan will square off against Lebanese destroyer Ramadan “The Scorpion” Ondash in a strawweight Muay Thai bout that carries massive World Title implications, and also promises absolute mayhem.

Aliff will enter this pivotal matchup riding a four-fight winning streak, including two impressive knockouts. Shortly after picking up a win over Elmehdi “The Sniper” El Jamari at ONE Fight Night 32 this past June, he engaged in a tense staredown with reigning ONE Strawweight Muay Thai World Champion Prajanchai PK Saenchai.

Though his clash for gold has yet to arrive, the 21-year-old is happy to take out another top fighter on the global stage and leave no doubt about the division’s leading contender.

Ondash, who is on a perfect 4-0 promotional run, isn’t going to let the Sor Dechapan representative run circles around him at ONE Fight Night 38, though.

The 19-year-old phenom fighting out of Tiger Muay Thai shocked the world with a brutal knockout of Chartpayak Saksatoon at ONE Friday Fights 114 this past June. “The Scorpion” will bring his stinging finishing power into this battle, and given Aliff’s near-similar style, fireworks are almost guaranteed.

With youth, hunger, and World Title aspirations fueling their engines, this showdown between two young stars could potentially be the Fight of the Night.

#2 Phetjeeja Vs. Martyna Dominczak

ONE Women’s Atomweight Kickboxing World Champion “The Queen” Phetjeeja will take on WMC Muay Thai World Champion Martyna Dominczak in a pairing that pits two fierce competitors against each other.

Phetjeeja boasts a perfect 7-0 record in ONE with three consecutive kickboxing World Title defenses and four finishes in Muay Thai. The Thai superstar will now seek to use this clash to close in on her two-sport dream and book a shot at Allycia Hellen Rodrigues‘ ONE Women’s Atomweight Muay Thai World Title.

“The Queen’s” world-class arsenal has made her nearly untouchable in the world’s largest martial arts organization, but her Polish opponent will be out to test whether the Team Mehdi Zatout star can handle the heat.

Dominczak has proven her all-action style can translate seamlessly to the global stage with three standout displays, including a US$50,000 performance bonus-winning finish of Nat “Wondergirl” Jaroonsak in her promotional debut last year.

The Polish star believes her unique style presents problems Phetjeeja has yet to encounter in her career. Dominczak is looking to score an upset victory and shatter the Thai’s dreams of two-sport dominance while positioning herself as a favorite for a shot at the division’s gold.

Both women share a similar penchant for putting on a show, and with neither willing to concede an inch, this contest at ONE Fight Night 38 has all the ingredients for an unforgettable firefight.

#3 Jeremy Miado Vs. Avazbek Kholmirzaev

Don’t blink when Filipino veteran Jeremy “The Jaguar” Miado and Uzbek wrecking ball Avazbek “Ninzya” Kholmirzaev trade leather in a scrap that has explosive finish written all over it.

The 25-year-old “Ninzya” arrives in this flyweight MMA bout on a blistering run of five victories, including four spectacular finishes. He is capable of ending fights both with his striking and with his grappling.

Most recently, the Raqobat product submitted South African MMA Champion Willie “White Lion” van Rooyen in his ONE debut, handing the previously unbeaten fighter his first career loss.

Miado, however, represents a significant step up in competition. “The Jaguar” is a grizzled veteran who has faced some of the best fighters in the promotion throughout his career.

The 32-year-old has wrapped up six of his seven triumphs on the global stage inside the distance. Whether it’s his educated hands or signature flying knee attack, Miado advances into enemy territory with only one thing on his mind — a quick end to everything.

On top of that, his veteran savvy makes him a genuine threat to halt Kholmirzaev’s momentum.

But the soaring Uzbek warrior will be out to continue his climb in the stacked division, making this a showcase that likely won’t need the judges’ input.
