third ODI at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Saturday, December 6. The series is currently levelled at 1-1 with both teams eager to win the final game and take the trophy home. South Africa have a chance to become the first team after Pakistan in 1987 to win both the Test and ODI series in India on the same tour.

The ongoing series has already been a high-scoring affair, with both teams showing aggressive batting. Virat Kohli scored centuries in both matches, taking his tally in 50-over cricket to 53. Ruturaj Gaikwad, who made his debut in the first ODI, scored a brilliant ton in the second match. Despite India’s massive score of 358, the Proteas managed to chase down the target with ease.

How will the pitch behave in Vizag?

The ACA-VDCA pitch is again expected to help batters more than bowlers. Dew has been a big factor in the series, especially in the second ODI in Raipur, where South Africa chased a huge total to equal India’s record for the highest successful run chase. In the first ODI, they also came very close to chasing 350. Saturday’s pitch is expected to play similarly, offering good help to batters.

Will rain affect IND vs SA 3rd ODI?

According to AccuWeather, Visakhapatnam will see temperatures between 27°C in the morning and 28°C in the afternoon. By evening, it will drop sharply to around 11°C, making it chilly. There will be some clouds, but no rain is expected in Vizag on the day of the match. Fans can expect a full match to be played.
