HyperOS 3 update hits Xiaomi’s Band 10 and Redmi Note 14

Just a few weeks after the initial HyperOS 3 rollout began, Xiaomi has extended the update to even more devices. The company’s latest custom skin is now arriving on the mid range Redmi Note 14 4G smartphone model and the the Xiaomi Band 10 wearable. So here are all the details.

HyperOS 3 now available for Xiaomi Band 10 & Redmi Note 14

The Chinese tech giant has just released the official stable build of the HyperOS 3 update for the Redmi Note 14 4G model. This update carries the OS3.0.4.0.WOGMIXM firmware version that carries a hefty download size of 5.3GB. The major software upgrade brings the latest Android 16 OS experience, along with visible upgrades like smoother animations, refined touch response, and under the hood performance optimizations.

As part of the update, Redmi Note 14 also gets new UI elements, including the “Hyper Island,” which is a dynamic live activity panel that showcases ongoing tasks like music, reminders, timers, and much more. It functions and appears similar to the Apple’s Dynamic Island function. Beyond interface polish, users should also see improved battery management, enhanced cross-device integration (for Xiaomi’s ecosystem), and security improvements.

On the other hand, the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is the next device that is getting this update. To recall, this is a budget friendly wearable built for fitness enthusiasts. As of right now, the Xiaomi Smart Band 10 is only receiving the update in the Chinese market. In related news, the company just released the HyperOS 3 update for the Xiaomi 15 and Xiaomi 15 Ultra in India.
