Like Spotify Wrapped for gamers. How to view Discord Checkpoint.

Discord has followed the lead of platforms like Spotify and created its own version of Spotify Wrapped for its users.
Discord is a popular online hangout spot where people can play video games, chat, and spend time with friends and other communities. And, on Thursday, Dec. 4, the platform announced that its users can see how much time they spend on it throughout the year using Discord Checkpoint.
“Rolling out over the next few days, Discord Checkpoint is the first time we’re giving you a recap of the stuff YOU did on Discord throughout the year,” Discord said in a blog post published on its website.
Here’s what to know about the new feature and what users can expect.
What did you watch, listen to in 2025? There’s a ‘Wrapped’ for that.
What does Discord Checkpoint show you?
Discord Checkpoint will show users the following things done throughout 2025:
-
How many messages you sent
-
Hours spent in voice chat
-
Servers users spent the most time in
-
Friends they hung out with the most, and the person they spent the most hours with in a voice chat
-

How to see your Discord Checkpoint
Discord users can log in via the Discord app on their computer or smartphone to view their Discord Checkpoint.
Users who open the app on their computer will be able to see their Discord Checkpoint in the section containing their private messages, and will see a pop-up in the upper right corner of the app. There will also be a small flag icon in the top right corner of the app. Users can use this to access their Discord Checkpoint as well.
On mobile, there will be a pop-up that asks if you’d like to review your Discord checkpoint when you open the app and when you’re on the profile tab.
To access Discord checkpoint, users must make sure the application on their devices is updated.
When users open the Discord app, they will immeidiately receive a pop up asking if they would like to start their Discord Checkpoint.
After completing their Discord checkpoint, users will receive an “Avatar Decoration” that can be used to decorate their profile picture for a limited time.
The decoration will be available until Jan. 15, 2025, and will match the “Checkpoint cards” users receive that summarize their year on Discord.

Discord is not the first to create an end-of-year summary
Discord is now part of a long line of digital platforms that have created end-of-year summaries.
The feature was popularized by Spotify when it first released its end-of-year summary, which gave users a look back at their listening habits throughout the year.
Now, Discord, YouTube, Apple Music, Amazon, Snapchat, and SoundCloud also show users how they spent their time using their online services.
