Missing Person Advisory issued for Woody Creek

A 19-year-old male has gone missing in Woody Creek Plaza vicinity, according to a PitkinAlert issued at 1:52 p.m. The individual may have a weapon.
“Please search your property, including outbuildings and vehicles,” the alert states.
According to a flyer, the male is about 6 feet one inch and 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. Pitkin County Sheriff Michael Buglione confirmed the 19-year-old was last seen at 4:26 p.m. Tuesday after he left his left his residence in Woody Creek Plaza.
The weapon in his possession is most likely a handgun, Buglione told The Aspen Times. Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating whether or not the missing person is considered dangerous.
Anything suspicious or out of place should be reported to the Pitkin County Sheriff’s Office. Those who see the individual should not engage and should call 970-716-4160.
