The All-Ireland club senior hurling championship has been a GAA staple for well over half-a-century. In all that time, there has only ever been one Wexford winner – Buffers Alley.

Here’s an even gloomier stat. Since the turn of the century, there has only been one Wexford winner of the AIB Leinster club crown.
