For a man who was once talked about as being one of the next big things in Irish football, the spotlight has been far, far away for a long time.
In fact, for the last decade, Kwame Ampadu, who in that heady year of 1990 was deemed good enough to get games in the old First Division for Arsenal and also anchor the Ireland U-21 midfield alongside Roy Keane, was better known as “Ethan’s dad”.
