Netflix is growing its status as a mainstream studio after agreeing to acquire Warner Bros in a multi billion dollar deal. The streaming service will gain access to Warner’s vast trove of content, including franchises such as ‘Game of Thrones’, Harry Potter’, and the D-C comics’s roster of superheroes. Liz Miller, president of Summit Place Financial Advisors, says more media mergers may be on the horizon.
