David Pollack predicts Georgia-Alabama SEC championship winner

Former Georgia Bulldogs defensive lineman and college football analyst David Pollack previewed the 2025 SEC championship game on his podcast “See Ball Get Ball” ahead of Saturday’s game. Pollack knows that both Georgia and the Alabama Crimson Tide are dealing with several injuries.
Pollack thinks Georgia being without center Drew Bobo for the SEC championship is a huge deal. He describes Bobo as Georgia’s third-most important player on offense behind quarterback Gunner Stockton and wide receiver Zachariah Branch.
“You know how awesome it is to have a guy that can make all the calls for you (center Drew Bobo for Gunner Stockton) and make life super easy,” Pollack said. Georgia had its worst passing performance of the season (and in several years) last week. Georgia’s defense is playing better than it did in the first meeting against Alabama.
“I think Georgia’s offense is going to really, really struggle without Drew Bobo,” Pollack said. “So I have Bama winning this game in the rematch. I mean, I think it’s going to be like 27 to 14 (Alabama wins).”
Pollack does think Georgia has a path to winning, but he was not impressed with the Bulldogs against Georgia Tech. He thinks Georgia’s best chance to win via a low-scoring contest.
Pollack’s prediction: Alabama 27, Georgia 14
