Ole Miss QB Trinidad Chambliss stars in AT&T commercial through NIL deal

As Ole Miss prepares for the College Football Playoff, Trinidad Chambliss is capitalizing off the field. The Rebels quarterback is starring in an AT&T commercial through an NIL deal.
The ad debuted Saturday ahead of the Big 12 Championship between Texas Tech and BYU. It alludes to Chambliss’ college football journey, which started at Division II Ferris State before he arrived at Ole Miss this year and became the starting quarterback following Austin Simmons’ injury.

Chambliss “transfers” to AT&T in the commercial. It’s part of the company’s “transfer portal” promotion for users switching from other carriers.
Chambliss has put together an impressive season at Ole Miss after becoming the starting quarterback. During the regular season, he completed 65.5% of his passes for 3,016 yards and 18 touchdowns, to three interceptions, across 12 games. He also ran for 470 yards and six touchdowns on the ground.
Off the field, Chambliss has become one of the big names in the SEC. His On3 NIL Valuation currently sits at $665,000.

It’s been quite the journey for Chambliss this season after leaving Ferris State. He shined at the Division II level, helping the Bulldogs to a national title in 2024. All told, he started 16 of his 25 games with the program and won the D-II College Football Player of the Year award during his final season.
After leading Ole Miss to an Egg Bowl victory over Mississippi State, Trinidad Chambliss was asked about the whirlwind year. It would have been hard for him to envision the season going the way it did.
“I’d tell you your crazy,” Chambliss said. “I couldn’t imagine this, but obviously God had different plans. I was just following his plans and riding the wave as the season went on. It’s been a journey and it’s been fun so far.”
After a historic 11-1 regular season, Chambliss and Ole Miss now wait to find out their College Football Playoff fate. The Rebels are in prime position to potentially host a first-round game, though they would do so with a new head coach. Pete Golding is now in charge after Lane Kiffin’s departure for LSU, and the program will also have co-offensive coordinator and play-caller Charlie Weis Jr. for the CFP run.
