December food deals: Freebies and promos to save on burgers, burritos, coffee and more holiday treats
In the spirit of the holidays, some restaurant chains are offering deals the entire month of December to spread a little savings magic.

Below, see what restaurants and fast food chains are rolling out for the 2025 holiday season.
Baskin-Robbins
To celebrate 80 years of the beloved ice cream chain, on Dec. 7, guests can enjoy 80-cent scoops all day.
Baskin-Robbins also has a festive new lineup of seasonal treats including a peppermint flavor of the month made with real peppermint candy pieces, a peppermint fudge cappy and the new peppermint avalanche cake in a box.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Buffalo Wild Wings announced its first-ever holiday campaign, Hank the Halls, featuring Hank the flying buffalo and Santa sharing a Pick 6 meal for two in a stop-motion short.
The restaurant is also dropping a limited run of Blind Boxes on Dec. 10 at 12 p.m. ET that feature a felt ornament, like a chicken wing or Santa.
The Pick 6 promo gives guests the option to mix and match two entrees, two sides and two fountain drinks starting at $19.99.
One entree option brand new to the menu are the Spicy Chicken Dippers served with B-Dubs Dip — a creamy, tangy blend of Honey BBQ, Honey Mustard and Buffalo sauces.
Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf
Every Friday now through Dec. 12, customers can get a free hot chocolate with any beverage purchase for Festive Fridays.
The coffee chain is also running a gift card promotion now through Jan. 1, 2026: When customers buy a $25 gift card, they will get a $5 coupon to redeem between Jan. 2 and Feb. 28, 2026.
Additionally, customers can check out the 12 Days of Gifts from Dec. 13-24, where daily offers will appear in the Coffee Bean Rewards app.
Chipotle

Chipotle announced a new Unwrap Extra promotion on Dec. 1, offering Rewards Members surprise buy one, get one entrée offers the first three Saturdays of the month.
In honor of National Ugly Sweater Day, Chipotle will also host an Extra Sweater Day on Saturday, Dec. 20, giving customers who show off their festive or over-the-top sweaters a BOGO offer in-restaurant.
Plus, all month long Chipotle will give Rewards Members extra treats in the app with surprise drops like free guac, double protein, chips or a free drink, delivered directly to their Rewards wallets.
El Pollo Loco
The fast food chain’s annual 12 Days of Pollo celebration is running through Dec. 12, during which Loco Rewards members can redeem exclusive food deals.
Upcoming promos include a discounted leg and thigh family meal, free caramel flan or churros, discounted chicken burrito bowls, bonus points, and buy one, get one quesadillas.
Shake Shack
All month long, the New York City-based burger chain is rolling out freebies on menu favorites with any $10 purchase, when customers use the code SHACKCHEER at checkout.
Now through Dec. 7 the offer includes a Big Shack, the newest menu item, for free.
Up next, from Monday Dec. 8 through Sun. Dec. 14, customers can treat themselves to a free SmokeShack. In the subsequent two weeks, from Dec. 15-20 and Dec. 21-31, the promotion will be good for a free Chicken Shack, followed by a free ShackBurger.
Also starting Monday, the Cris Crinkle Cut plushie will be tucked away in Shack locations across 15 cities, and fans who spot the character will win a year of free Crinkle Cuts.
Sonic
On Dec. 10, 17 and 23, Sonic will roll out three single-day offers, with 99-cent corn dogs first, followed by $1.49 four-piece mozzarella sticks and another 99-cent corn dog deal.
Subway
Subway announced the return of its Sub Club for the first time in 20 years, in which every fourth is footlong sandwich is free.
The loyalty program is free to sign up, and to earn a free sandwich, customers can buy any combination of three footlongs or six 6-inch subs, and the next sandwich will be free.
Zaxby’s
For the 12 Days of Saucemas at Zaxby’s, rewards members can find exclusive deals in the app, including the brand-new limited-time holiday Cookie Butter Shake.
