She describes him as ‘kind and generous,’ and feels a sense of ‘full circle’ working with him again on ‘Ballerina. Ana de Armas and Keanu Reeves have shared a friendship that goes beyond their work together on the ‘John Wick’ franchise. In a recent interview, the ‘Blade Runner 2049’ star opened up about their bond, talked about the first project they did together, and how everything has been since then for them both.

The actress recently attended Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea International Film Festival. During the ‘In Conversation’ segment of the event, as per The Hollywood Reporter, the actress recalled how Reeves and she met for the first time, sharing that ‘Knock Knock’ was their first-ever project together.She recalled, “When I first moved to L.A., we did ‘Knock Knock’ together, and at that time I barely spoke English. It was kind of a frustrating journey not being able to fully communicate, but we still had a great time. We bonded really well, and we have a beautiful friendship.”She also called him “kind and generous,” adding that working with him for ‘From the World of John Wick: Ballerina’, felt very “full circle” for her. She expressed gratitude for the project and added that “having him there, supporting me ten years later, meant a lot.”

Another thing that the actress discussed came from all of her action-packed roles. She shared how, at the beginning of her career, she never thought she’d be able to do such stunts. She revealed that, “I had a very happy childhood – very free and very social. We would perform for our neighbors, do dances, and I was even in a Spice Girls group. I always knew I wanted to be an actress. There was no Plan B.” Further, she then talked about her acting career, stating that projects like ‘No Time to Die’, ‘The Gray Man’, and ‘Ghosted’ all helped her build up to become a staple in the action genre.The 37 year old, however, recalled working for ‘Ballerina’ and shared that it “was another level – very challenging, very demanding. But it was also an exciting character to play, and I really loved expanding that universe.”
