Streamer Awards 2025 controversies: QTCinderella’s comments, India Love’s actions, Best VTuber award drama, and more

The Streamer Awards 2025 recently concluded on December 6, 2025, and featured its fair share of drama and controversial moments. From QTCinderella’s questions toward YourRAGE and RaKai to India Love’s stage takeover, the Streamer Awards led to a series of viral moments online. Overall, hundreds of thousands of fans tuned in across various channels to watch the show online.
While discussing the topic of PR training, QTCinderella, the Streamer Awards’s founder and host, directed a few controversial questions to audience members as a “test.” She initially picked out FaZe Clan, asking Josh “YourRAGE” what his favorite color on the Pride Flag was:
“What’s your favorite colour on the Pride Flag? (“Yes,” said YourRAGE)”
RAGE dodged any potential drama by replying with a blunt “yes” and nothing more. Next, QT picked out 17-year-old Clover Boys member, RaKai, and asked him about his history with stealing:
“What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever stolen?.. Don’t answer! It’s a test RaKai! Don’t answer.”
The camera then panned to the 17-year-old, who sat with his group members speechless.
Later, after FaZe Clan’s Adapt was awarded “Breakout Streamer of the Year,” streamer and social media influencer, India Love, went up on stage and suggested that the Streamer Award should have been given to her close collaborator, Daryl “DDG” or RaKai:
“Breakout Streamer of the Year went to Adapt and congratulations and we respect you… RaKai should’ve won Breakout Streamer of the Year and DDG, I don’t care what y’all say!”
Many online compared this moment to Kanye West’s viral 2009 VMA incident, where he claimed Beyoncé should’ve won instead of Taylor Swift.
Another notable controversy happened after TheBurntPeanut won “Best VTuber.” This caused some outrage online, especially because the Peanut is not your conventional VTuber with a sophisticated character model. Further, many claimed that TheBurntPeanut does not consider himself part of the VTuber community.
Looking at Fanfan’s controversial comments against Kai Cenat at the Streamer Awards
Streamer Fiona “Fanfan” was responsible for being on the ground, amongst the Streamer Awards attendees, to interact and entertain. At one point, she singled out Twitch megastar Kai Cenat, and seemingly compared his appearance to Sean “Diddy” Combs:
“This year, as everyone knows, you broke the record for the most expensive haircut and the least educational university. So, congratulations to you. Oh, and also, congrats on your new documentary with 50 Cent. That was you, right?”
Right after, Tylil James asked for the microphone and defended his associate:
“If you are going to be on the mic, turn this s**t on! Turn this s**t on! If you are going to be on the mic making jokes, at least let it be funny! If you are going to be on the mic making jokes, at least let it be funny! Have a good night!”
Then, after Fanfan asked Tylil if he’d like to make a joke, the latter responded with a sharp “no.”
In other news, IShowSpeed took home “Streamer of the Year” two years in a row.
