Baldanzi favored over Dybala in Cagliari clash

All is ready at the Unipol Domus in Cagliari. At 3:00 PM, Pisacane’s Sardinian side will face Gasperini’s Roma in the 14th round of Serie A, which also features head-to-head clashes between Lazio and Bologna and between Napoli and Juventus.
Roma are in fact expected to win, as they face Como and then Juventus in the next two matchdays.
For the match against Cagliari, Gasperini will be without Wesley.
The coach announced his absence in yesterday’s press conference: “We’re unlikely to risk him,” and so it was. The Brazilian was not even called up, and Tsimikas is expected to play in his place.
The goal and defense remain unchanged: leaders Svilar, Mancini, Ndicka, and Hermoso will start. In midfield, despite the coach’s comments on Pisilli, Koné and Cristante, considered untouchable by Gasperini, are expected to return.
In attack, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports, the attacking trident will once again be a lightweight, with Ferguson starting on the bench and Dovbyk still sidelined.
Dybala is not yet at his best, which is why Baldanzi remains favored to play as a false nine with Soulé and Pellegrini behind him.
