How cold will it be at the Meadowlands for Miami Dolphins-NY Jets game

Joe Schad’s Miami Dolphins at NY Jets prediction, streak continues?

Will the Miami Dolphins improve to 6-7 and win at the New York Jets? Here’s Joe Schad’s pick.

It will be cold at the Meadowlands today for the Miami Dolphins-New York Jets game.

The massive cold front that moved through the Midwest and Northeast reached the greater New York area, dropping temperatures into the 30s (and down to the teens next week).

This afternoon’s forecast for East Rutherford, N.J., calls for temperatures between 30 and 40 degrees with most of the game being played in the mid to lower 30s. However, there is no snow in that forecast and the wind should not be that strong.

Still, this will be the first cold-weather game for Miami this season and we must remind you that Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has never won an NFL game (0-7) when the temperature is 46 degrees or below and that certainly will be the case today.

Miami is favored by 2 1/2 points to win its third straight game and keep its slim playoff hopes alive.

The Jets, who have won three of five since an awful start that included a loss to the Dolphins on “Monday Night Football,” are hoping to finish the season on a good note.
