Tom and Lisa won the musical instrument for Martin
After Ruby Wax’s exit, the Geordie duo said they felt like the Hollywood interviewer brought out the best in people.
“Not in Martin,” Dec said to the pair’s five million followers.
He added, “Nobody’s brought the best out of Martin yet. We were hoping the ukulele would do that.”
Ant then read out a question from a viewer who asked why the musician was gifted an instrument he “didn’t know how to play”.

Roman Kemp says I’m A Celeb’s Martin ‘doesn’t have friends’ after fan fears
“Well, I just presumed if he was a bass player, he’d be able to play a ukulele, a stringed instrument,” Ant explained.
Dec added, “No, I’ll tell you what it is, we didn’t choose what they got as presents, the friends and family did that.
“We kind of gave them a Secret Santa limit of like, 20 Australian dollars, and Martin’s lot decided we should get a ukulele.
“Don’t know why. Blame their families.”

He continued, “Exciting Martin Kemp fact, for all you Martin Kemp fact fans out there, he’s finally doing the trial.
“Martin, in the trial. So that is brilliant, because we wanted to try for a few days to get him down there.”
“So him and Tom, him and Tom, that’s good,” Ant added.
It comes after Martin’s eliminated co-star Vogue Williams revealed the real reason behind his lack of screentime and trial participation.
Vogue told fans: “Martin did want to do the trials, but Martin was exempt from some.
“And I think everybody wanted to do the trials, which was probably unusual for a year.”
She added, “I think that because Martin is a bit quieter he was kinda happy to let everybody else go ahead.
“Martin’s sound, such a nice guy. He’s really, really lovely.”
Martin’s alleged exemption from trials might relate to his epilepsy after his brain tumour battle in the 90s, though this is not confirmed.
The music icon has always been open about his health.
He has openly spoken about having two brain tumours in the late 90s and undergoing surgery and radiotherapy to remove them.
He has also shared that he lives with epilepsy, which he takes medication for.
The Sun has reached out to ITV for comment.
