Shona McGarty revealed she sees herself as an older sister to fellow campmate Aitch.
Asked about their friendship, she said: “To be completely honest, when he came in, this rapper thing coming on, mega and all that, underneath it all, I could tell he was quite scared of the whole experience.
“He’s normal, he’s down to earth, we’ve had a similar upbringing. I felt like older sister and I wanted to protect him.”
Elsewhere in the chat, the EastEnders actor sniggered when Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly brought up her short reign as camp leader. “Very brief,” she said.
Addressing the butter scandal that saw her lose her throne, she said: “I saw my opportunity and I took it.” Asked if it was worth losing her throne, she said: “It was.”
She added: “No, I thought maybe it was Alex and she forgot to tell me there was butter in the trunk. She had salt, pepper… Ginge, he got away with murder.”
Ant and Dec also dropped a bombshell about the milk bottle sweets that Aitch, Ginge and Kelly Brook secretly scoffed. “You wait until I see you Aitch,” she said. “It won’t be long.”
