Oshawa woman charged with impaired after Port Hope crash

Northumberland OPP have charged an Oshawa woman after crashing into a ditch in Port Hope.
On November 29, at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers responded to the call on Morris Church Road.
The driver was the lone occupant of the vehicle.
After speaking with the driver, officers initiated an impaired driving investigation.
The woman was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Monika Puczynski, 36, of Oshawa was charged with:
– Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
– Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
– Dangerous operation
Puczynski was given a 90-day Administrative Driver License Suspension, her vehicle was also impounded for 7 days.
