Embiid returned from a nine-game absence on Sunday night, sat for Tuesday’s game and then played on the front end of the team’s back-to-back on Thursday and Friday. He played 25 minutes in their dramatic home win over the Golden State Warriors on Thursday before sitting the following night in Milwaukee.

Paul George did the opposite, staggering the stars as they are both still not cleared to play two nights in a row. George logged a season-high 30 minutes against the Bucks.

On the Los Angeles side of things, MVP candidate Luka Dončić has been away from the team welcoming his second child. He is not listed on the injury report, set to return to action in Philadelphia, while LeBron James (right sciatica and left foot joint arthritis) is questionable to play.

The expected absences on the Sixers’ side: Kelly Oubre Jr. (knee) and Trendon Watford (adductor). Updates on both players will likely be provided in the middle of next week. Rookies Johni Broome and Hunter Sallis are questionable on G League assignment.
