Kyrou sustains lower-body injury in Ottawa

Jordan Kyrou left Saturday’s game against the Ottawa Senators after a collision along the boards early in the first period.
Kyrou was playing the puck and was hit by Senators forward Stephen Halliday just 2:52 into the game. Kyrou was attended to by Head Athletic Trainer Ray Barile and was helped to the locker room. He did not return to the game.
“He’s doing OK, I think he’s day-to-day right now,” Blues Head Coach Jim Montgomery said after the game. “We’ll have more when we get a picture on him. At the most, we think it’s a week to 10 days, but again, we’ve got to get an MRI when we back (to St. Louis) just to make sure.”
Through 28 games this season, Kyrou has eight goals and eight assists (16 points).
