Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez Reportedly Spark Dating Ru…

Keith Urban and Jennifer Lopez are reportedly closer than ever—and friends are starting to wonder if the longtime pals have crossed into new territory.

According to SheKnows, Lopez allegedly reached out to the country singer shortly after news broke of his split from Nicole Kidman.

“J.Lo reached out to Keith as soon as she found out he and Nicole had split up,” the outlet said. “She wanted to offer her support and check in.”

Both artists know what it’s like to go through a public breakup. Lopez finalized her divorce from Ben Affleck earlier this year after their high-profile reconciliation fell apart, and Urban has been navigating the end of his 19-year marriage to Kidman after she filed for divorce in late September.

According to those close to the pair, Lopez’s empathy struck a chord with Urban. “A lot of people did that for her when she and Ben broke up, and it meant everything to her,” noted the report. “Keith has been so grateful for her support. A lot of people have shunned him in favor of Nicole, so J.Lo’s kindness really stood out.”

The two have known each other for nearly a decade, having worked together as judges on American Idol during the show’s mid-2010s run alongside Harry Connick Jr.

“They always shared a lot of laughs back in the Idol days, and that fun rapport is there just as strong as ever,” the report continued. “People are even starting to wonder if something more might have sparked.”

For now, those close to both Lopez and Urban insist their exchanges remain friendly. “They’re mostly sending each other encouraging messages and funny memes,” the report concluded, “but that hasn’t stopped people from seeing the potential for something more here.”

The renewed attention comes as Urban faces scrutiny over another on-tour headline.

Just days before Kidman’s divorce filing, Urban changed the lyrics to “The Fighter”—a song originally written for Kidman—to reference his 25-year-old guitarist, Maggie Baugh.

The line “When they’re tryna get to you, baby, I’ll be the fighter” became “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie, I’ll be your guitar player.”

Baugh later posted the moment on Instagram with the caption, “Did he just say that👀,” adding fuel to speculation that Urban’s post-divorce life has already taken a complicated turn.
