Just like the rest of the internet, badminton legend Saina Nehwal is hooked on to Akshaye Khanna’s swaggering entry step from Dhurandhar on the now-viral track FA9LA. And Nehwal didn’t just stop at listening, but she decided to recreate it as well.
During a recent outing, Nehwal attempted Akshaye’s electrifying entry steps in Dhurandhar, but the surprise scene-stealer turned out to be her father, who joined in by striking poses reminiscent of Akshaye’s father, legendary actor Vinod Khanna.
Her caption said it all: “When you are #AkshayeKhanna fan and papa is #VinodKhanna fan.”

FA9LA plays during Akshaye Khanna’s grand introduction scene in Dhurandhar, where he appears as Rehman Dakait – a Pakistani crime lord turned politician. The high-octane track has been composed by Bahraini rapper Flipperachi, and has become one of the film’s most-replayed audio clips.
As chatter around the soundtrack spiked, Dhurandhar’s lead actor Ranveer Singh added fuel to the frenzy, as he shared the song on social media with the caption: “So here’s ’THAT’ track from the movie.”

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar has crossed the Rs 100-crore mark in India in its opening weekend and touched Rs 140 crore worldwide, cementing its status as one of the biggest theatrical successes of the season.
