Luka Doncic passes Nikola Jokic in historic triple-double feats

Slovenian basketball star Luka Doncic had an outstanding night in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 112–108 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers.
Returning to the United States after the birth of his child, Doncic recorded 31 points, 15 rebounds, and 11 assists.
“I was tired. Mentally, I wasn’t fully present, but I’m happy we won,” said Doncic.
He had several multi-hour flights over the past few days.
“It was a lot, but it was worth it,” he added.

It wasn’t easy for him to be away from his family and return to America.
“I saw my daughter again. Of course, the baby too. It was a little hard to leave them. But that’s the job. I have to do it. It’s simply the best thing in the world. Two little girls. They are definitely going to make my life a living hell. I know it. I’ll be their security after I retire. But joking aside, it’s the best feeling in the world. I’m blessed,” emphasized Luka Doncic.
Meticulous statisticians in the U.S. also noted that a triple-double with at least 30 points is a rare feat.
Doncic has surpassed Nikola Jokic on the all-time list when it comes to triple-doubles of this kind.
Only Oscar Robertson remains ahead of him.
This season, Doncic is averaging 35.3 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 8.9 assists per game.
