Manchester United were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham on Thursday but while that was a frustrating result, their problems are nowhere near as bad as those of their next opponents, Wolves.
Wanderers have just two points after 14 games and relegation is beginning to look inevitable following a seventh straight Premier League defeat.
Wolves have scored just two goals in that miserable run, making Monday’s trip to Molineux a golden opportunity for Ruben Amorim’s Red Devils to bounce back to winning ways.

Wolves vs Man Utd preview
Consistency is proving hard to come by for Manchester United, who failed to follow up last Sunday’s impressive 2-1 win at Crystal Palace when they were held to a 1-1 draw by relegation-threatened West Ham on Thursday.
The result itself will have been frustrating enough for Ruben Amorim but it was made all the more irritating by the fact that top-four rivals Liverpool, Chelsea, Sunderland and Brighton had all dropped points earlier in the week.
Luckily for United, they have the perfect opportunity to bounce back as they now head to Molineux to face a Wolves side who are threatening to break Derby’s record-low Premier League points tally of 11.
Wanderers’ 1-0 home defeat to Nottingham Forest means they have just two points from14 games and things are unlikely to get better straight away.
Manchester United failed to get into a rhythm against West Ham but the Hammers had won two of their previous three games and are beginning to show signs of life under their new manager. The same is certainly not true of Wolves.
The Rob Edwards era has yet to yield a goal, let alone any points, and it’s likely to be more of the same against United.
This Wolves side are so far off the level the rest of the Premier League have shown. The defence is shocking, a lack of capable wide players makes them predictable in attack and the confidence is through the floor.
Southampton finished rock bottom after showing similar traits last term and Edwards’ side look to be heading for the same fate.
Wolfe may take a bite out of Diallo
Amad Diallo was Manchester United’s brightest player against West Ham and his speed and tricky dribbling eventually led to a yellow card for Hammers left-back El Hadji Malick Diouf.
Wolves defender David Moller Wolfe will be tasked with keeping tabs on the Ivorian at Molineux but the Dane lacks the pace to stick to the brief.
Wolfe was booked against Aston Villa last Sunday and looks set for a tough evening.
Fernandes fancied to let fly freely
Bruno Fernandes was another standout performer in the draw with West Ham, firing off six shots, and the United skipper should have a big impact at Molineux.
The Portuguese managed four shots in just 32 minutes when the Red Devils last met Wolves and having registered 19 across his last four appearances for club and country, he is in the right kind of form to exploit the plethora of space often left by a haphazard Wanderers defence.
Wolves vs Man Utd Bet Builder
Manchester United to win
Wolves’ run of eight losses in a row makes them impossible to trust, especially as they failed to score in the last five of those.
Amad Diallo to score or assist
The Ivorian winger stood out against West Ham and his pace and trickery should cause a shaky Wolves defence plenty of problems.
Jean-Ricner Bellegarde to commit two or more fouls
The French midfielder committed two fouls in his last game and may be drawn into more infringements when filling in for suspended teammate Joao Gomes in a deeper role.
