The 26-year-old former Blues ace has played in 12 matches across all competitions for Manchester United in the current season and has netted twice for his side.
Mount, who has an assist to his name in the Red Devils’ campaign, has also recently completed his first-ever 90 minutes for United since his move from Chelsea.

“Me and Nous, actually, we are always kind of going up against each other in training,” he said, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“So, we both love it.
“We’re trying to get the best out of each other and that’s the most important thing.
“I think, if you look at the squad now, there is loads of competition for places and that’s exactly what we need because the standard is always pushing higher and higher and higher.”

Outside of his admiration for Noussair Mazraoui, Mount insisted that it is “massively important” for United players to remain “competitive” and maintain a high standard.
“And we need to continue to set those standards high because we want to achieve a lot,” he continued.
“So, yeah, I think it’s massively important for us, as a group, to be competitive but, as soon as it goes onto the pitch, for us to be competitive against our opposition, that’s a given.”
United will return to Premier League action on Monday evening, as Ruben Amorim’s men travel to the Molineux for their encounter with relegation-threatened Wolves.
