Taylor Swift fans flock to mysterious Sunset Boulevard display

Nine days before Taylor Swift’s movie and docuseries land on Disney+, something is stirring on the Sunset Strip of West Hollywood.
A new installation popped up near the corner of Sunset Boulevard and Holloway Drive, wrapping the sidewalk in a barricaded perimeter. The open-air spot, which draws heavy foot traffic, now features cutouts of Swift: one with her back turned, holding a guitar in a sparkling “Fearless” dress, and another capturing her signature back-arched pose from an Eras Tour moment during her song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.”
On the visible banners is the Disney+ logo and “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour | The Final Show.” Production lights and trusses appear to stand above the barrier.
Swift’s team and Disney+ have not said what the project entails.
Movie and docuseries coming to Disney+
A new trailer released Dec. 1 previewed “Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour | The Final Show,” the second concert film capturing her Dec. 8, 2024, Vancouver stop, the last city of the highest-grossing tour in music history.
Fans noticed sweeping wide shots, upgraded camera rigs and dolly tracks along the perimeter of the stage.
“I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life to date,” Swift says in the movie trailer.
The concert film will debut Dec. 12, the same day as the first two episodes of Swift’s six-part docuseries, a behind-the-scenes chronicle that traces early Eras Tour planning, choreography and emotional stakes. Interviews with Swift, her mother, Andrea, and her fiancé add even more context, along with footage from backstage quick-changes and the tour’s communal power.
“This show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once,” Swift says in the series.
