The first-look poster of The Drama — that brings Robert Pattinson and Zendaya together on screen for the first time — has piqued our interest.
Released on Tuesday, the poster, which is fashioned like a wedding invite, shows the two actors sitting close, with Zendaya flaunting an engagement ring. The logline ‘You are cordially invited to’ and the words ‘Save the Date’ (the film releases in theatres worldwide on April 3, 2026) reinforce the vibe of the film.

Written and directed by Kristoffer Borgli, The Drama has Pattinson, 39, and Zendaya, 29, playing a couple. Days before their wedding, their relationship is shaken when one partner discovers unsettling truths about the other.
The film also stars Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim and Hailey Gates.

Over the last year, not much has been made public about the project, with only a few pictures of the lead actors shooting by night on the streets having made it to the Internet. However, in an interview with Premiere magazine, Pattinson had described filming for the movie to be intense. The actor had revealed that he had to call Zendaya in the middle of the night to talk about a complex scene. “We had a scene together that was driving me crazy,” Pattinson recalled. “I was desperately trying to understand its meaning, to the point of writing pages and pages of textual analysis. The night before the shoot, I ended up calling Zendaya. I shared all my doubts with her, talked for two hours, and after a while, she finally made me understand, very calmly, that the line just meant what it meant and that there wasn’t any hidden meaning.”
