NPL: Under pressure, Binod Bhandari hits half-century, Sudurpashchim crosses 100

KATHMANDU, Dec 9: In the first qualifier of the Nepal Premier League (NPL), Sudurpashchim Royals’ batsman Binod Bhandari reached his half-century amid mounting pressure.
At the Tribhuvan Cricket Ground in Kirtipur, facing Biratnagar Kings, Bhandari achieved his fifty off 44 balls, striking three fours and one six.

Despite wickets falling at the other end, Bhandari batted with composure, anchoring the innings. Sudurpashchim reached 105 runs for the loss of four wickets in 15.1 overs.
During his innings, captain Dipendra Singh Airee was run out for 3, while Ishan Pandey scored 13 before being dismissed.
Currently, Bhandari is batting alongside Harmit Singh, holding the innings together for Sudurpashchim.
