Everything you need to know about Liverpool’s injury and suspension news after their draw with Leeds United.

  • Conor Bradley (right-back): Conor Bradley returned to the starting XI for Saturday’s draw with Leeds United after returning from a hamstring injury. However, he picked up a yellow card and his fifth of the season which will mean he misses the visit of Brighton & Hove Albion.
  • Jeremie Frimpong (right-back): Jeremie Frimpong will remain sidelined as he continues to recover from a hamstring problem. The Dutch international suffered a fresh injury setback in October and has been absent since he was forced off against Eintracht Frankfurt. He has stepped up his rehabilitation in recent weeks.
  • Giovanni Leoni (centre-back): Liverpool will continue to be without Giovanni Leoni for the foreseeable future as he recovers from a major ACL tear sustained earlier this campaign. The severity of this injury means the defender is not expected to feature again during the entirety of the 2025/26 season.
  • Dominik Szoboszlai (midfield): Dominik Szoboszlai avoided suspension against Leeds but is walking a tight rope in the top-flight with four yellow cards.
  • Other suspension concerns: Virgil van Dijk, Milos Kerkez, Ryan Gravenberch and Federico Chiesa are all on three yellow cards ahead of a congested festive calendar where the Reds face Tottenham, Wolves, Leeds, Fulham and Arsenal.
