This week, Disney+ transformed the streets of Hollywood into an immersive splash zone with a truly unique billboard celebrating Percy Jackson and the Olympians: Season 2.
Positioned at the bustling intersection of Hollywood and Vine, the installation was far from a typical digital display. A fully operational water tank brought the visuals to life, complete with cascading streams, mist bursts, and video clips carefully choreographed to match the movement of the water.
The dynamic billboard showcased scenes from the series with dramatic effects. In one sequence, a giant tentacle appears to crash against the screen, shattering the “glass” and sending a rush of water spilling outward. Beneath the billboard, a shallow pool catches the water, allowing it to be recycled for the next wave of effects.
