Avatar The Last Airbender Season 2 First look out: Netflix teases another epic saga, Introduces THIS character
Avatar The Last Airbender is all set to return with its second season. Netflix has officially unveiled its first look and announced that its teaser will release soon. The series is based on the hit animated show of the same. The live-action series stars Gordon Cormier, Kiawentiio, Ian Ousley, Dallas Liu, Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Ken Leung, and Daniel Dae Kim.
Unveiling the first look of Avatar The Last Airbender Season 2, Netflix wrote, “Toph has arrived. AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER SEASON 2. Teaser trailer tomorrow.”
Executive producers Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani said in a statement, “We’re looking forward to working with all of our actors again and digging into the deeper, more complicated relationships that develop as their journey continues in Season 2.”
“We are going to show the real-world versions of iconic scenes from the original, and explore some of the stories that the animation didn’t. Mainly, we’re looking forward to seeing our gang all together again,” they added.
“We’re going to challenge our characters with more complex and nuanced obstacles as they navigate a more tactile world. Just as the animated series matured and progressed, the live-action will also take these characters and worlds and grow them,” the makers added further talking about the plot of Season 2.
Terry Chen, Dolly de Leon, Lily Gao, Madison Hu, Miya Cech, Chin Han, Hoa Xuande, Justin Chien, Amanda Zhou, Crystal Yu, Kelemete Misipeka, Lourdes Faberes, Rekha Sharma, and Dichen Lachman are the new additions to the star cast.
The series is set in a fictional world where human civilization is divided into four nations based on the four classical elements: the Water Tribes, the Earth Kingdom, the Fire Nation, and the Air Nomads. The plot focuses on twelve-year-old Avatar Aang, the last survivor of the Air Nomads and the next Avatar who can master all four elements.
