Miguel Delaney: Mo Salah’s struggle for form shows that no player remains truly untouchable

Having done so much of his talking off the pitch, Mohamed Salah was back in training with Liverpool on Sunday and yesterday. The mood is said to have been fine – the players putting up a front with friendly chats – although everyone is aware of what’s hanging in the air. There are a few small jokes, but mostly it’s left unsaid.

Many might quip that Salah said enough on Saturday, in words that have been pored over more than any Liverpool interview since Luis Suarez in the summer of 2013.
