Autumn’s Forecast: Temperatures rise, winds whip and rain/snow moves in Wednesday

Winter Weather Advisory from 1 a.m. Wednesday through 4 a.m. Friday for Southern Erie, Wyoming, Chautauqua, Cattaraugus, and Allegany Counties. 7-14″ snow in most persistent bands.
Winter Weather Advisory through 10 a.m. Wednesday for Northern Erie, Niagara, Orleans, Genessee Counties. 2-5″ possible. A few late this evening from lake snow and a few possible from a general snow into early Wednesday.
Winter Weather Advisory from 1 a.m. Wednesday through 10 a.m. Wednesday for Potter and McKean Counties in Pennsylvania 2-6″ possible.
Below is the current forecast for what’s to come from Meteorologist Autumn Lewandowski:
A general snow will arrive after midnight with 1 to 2″ of snow by morning.
Winds will be strong on Wednesday with gusts near 40 miles per hour. The snow will mix with rain across lower elevations. A heavy wet snow will accumulate across the higher hills south of Buffalo.
