The dollar edged lower ahead of Wednesday’s Federal Reserve decision.
It reverses some of its gains in recent days, which reflected expectations that the Fed could reduce interest rates but be cautious about prospects of further cuts in the coming months.
Fed policymakers are likely to be cautious as this will mark the third consecutive rate reduction, but any boost to the dollar could be limited, ING’s Chris Turner said.
