‘Jimmy Neutron’ voice actor, comedian hospitalized

Comedian and voice actor Jeffrey Garcia has been hospitalized, although doctors don’t appear to know yet what is wrong with him.
According to TMZ, Garcia is currently in a hospital in southern California. Family members told the news outlet that it is unclear what his specific illness is.
He was previously hospitalized on Nov. 20 for pneumonia but recovered and was discharged several days later.
Garcia, 50, is perhaps best known for voicing the character Sheen on the popular Nickelodeon cartoon show “Jimmy Neutron: Boy Genius.”
The popularity of the cartoon led to a spinoff show, “Planet Sheen,” which ran for 26 episodes. Garcia voiced the character on that show as well.
He also voiced Pip the Mouse in the film “Barnyard” and its spin-off series “Back at the Barnyard.”
Garcia also regularly tours as a stand-up comedian and had been performing until his recent bouts with his health.
