Water closes SR 410 near Greenwater, Sumner
Greenwater is now inaccessible from Enumclaw.

State Route 410 has been closed near Greenwater and at Sumner due to flooding.
The Enumclaw Police Department announced the road closure today, Dec. 10, around 9:30 a.m.
“Anyone on the other side of the closure, Greenwater fire is asking for help filling sandbags at the fire station,” the EPD wrote in a Facebook post. “We are continuing to monitor areas of concern in Enumclaw for flooding, but if you notice any flooding onto the roads in the city that have not been addressed, please call us at (360) 825-3505.”
Both directions of the highway are also closed in Sumner at Traffic Avenue due to water over the roadway, according to the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Westbound SR 410 is closed at SR 162, and eastbound SR 410 is closed at Traffic Avenue.
There is no estimated time to reopen this section of SR 410 in Pierce County.
People are encouraged to delay or reschedule travel if possible. Travelers can expect delays in surrounding areas.
