Starbucks’ bear cups are back! How Palm Beach County residents can win one

After selling out within 24 hours back in November, the highly sought-after Starbucks “Bearista” cup is making a return. But only if you’re lucky enough to win one.

Starbucks announced on Monday, Dec. 8, that the viral cup will be one of the prizes offered during “Starbucks for Life,” the chain’s annual holiday game for rewards members.

According to E! News, 17,000 cups are available, with 600 per day, limited to one per person. Will you be lucky enough to win one?

Here’s what we know about the Starbucks “Bearista” cups and how Palm Beach County residents can try to win one.

Holiday Hype: Starbucks Fans Scramble for Viral Bearista Cup

Starbucks’ limited-edition Bearista teddy bear cup sparked a nationwide frenzy, selling out within hours of its holiday launch, now being resold for $200.

What is the Starbucks teddy bear cup and how can Palm Beach County residents win one?

The Starbucks “Bearista” cups are glass cups, shaped like a teddy bear, that were released as a part of the coffee chain’s annual holiday merchandise line. Typically, the attention is on Starbucks’ holiday drink and food menu or the annual “red cup day” that falls in November, but every once in a while, a particular merchandise item goes viral.

This was the case for the adorable teddy bear cup, which was released on Thursday, Nov. 6 with the rest of the holiday line, and was already sold out by Friday, Nov. 7.

“The excitement for our merchandise exceeded even our biggest expectations and despite shipping more Bearista cups to coffeehouses than almost any other merchandise item this holiday season, the Bearista cup and some other items sold out fast,” Starbucks said in a statement, after the sold-out cups went viral.

The 20-ounce glass cup features a green beanie cap as a lid, a green and white striped straw and retails for $29.95. The only way to get your hands on one as of Dec. 9 is to participate in the “Starbucks for Life Merrython.”
